Day 1: JKI Airport to Nairobi
Day 2: to Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart after breakfast for Masai Mara, stopping at one of the view points along the escarpment of The Great Eastern Rift Valley that is estimated to run about 6000km from Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley in Asia to Mozambique in southeastern Africa. The drive will expose you to the double crater Mount Suswa, vast wheat farms, Masai herder’s with their cattle and a number of grazing wildlife along the way. The drive is about 4.5hrs to your hotel where you are booked for lunch. After lunch relax by the pool then a game drive at 16:00hrs when the animals are most active to about 18:00hrs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Early morning game drives to catch the nocturnal animals before they hibernate, from the day’s hot sun, returning for late breakfast. A dip in the pool will ward of the excess day’s heat. An evening game drive at around 16:00hrs before returning for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park
After a hearty breakfast depart for your Lake Nakuru lodge. Later go for game drive at the park to see the numerous flamingoes, white rhinos, buffalos and the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at a Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park and Amboseli National Park
An early morning departure, for a long drive, to Amboseli National Park. This elephant haven will amaze you at how majestic and imposing the elephant is. In this park look for the lions, gerenuks, among other game. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park and Tsavo West National Park
Day 7: Tsavo West National Park to the Kenyan Coast
Day 8 and 9: Kenyan Coast
Day 10: Kenyan Coast to Nairobi
