The ‘Best of Kenya’, this trip will expose you to the great Rift Valley, the supposedly eighth wonder of the world that is the Mara, One of the world’s greatest birdlife spectacle that is Lake Nakuru National Park, an elephant paradise at the foot of the highest peak in Africa at Amboseli crowned with a leisurely time walking on the white sandy beaches of the Indian ocean at the coast. The various cultures and traditions of the many people you will interact with, the sights, smells and sounds you experience over time whilst on safari will forever be etched in your mind.

Itinerary

Day 1: JKI Airport to Nairobi

Nairobi Pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet and greet and after a short briefing transfer to your Nairobi Hotel.

Day 2: to Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai MaraDepart after breakfast for Masai Mara, stopping at one of the view points along the escarpment of The Great Eastern Rift Valley that is estimated to run about 6000km from Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley in Asia to Mozambique in southeastern Africa. The drive will expose you to the double crater Mount Suswa, vast wheat farms, Masai herder’s with their cattle and a number of grazing wildlife along the way. The drive is about 4.5hrs to your hotel where you are booked for lunch. After lunch relax by the pool then a game drive at 16:00hrs when the animals are most active to about 18:00hrs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai MaraEarly morning game drives to catch the nocturnal animals before they hibernate, from the day’s hot sun, returning for late breakfast. A dip in the pool will ward of the excess day’s heat. An evening game drive at around 16:00hrs before returning for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake NakuruAfter a hearty breakfast depart for your Lake Nakuru lodge. Later go for game drive at the park to see the numerous flamingoes, white rhinos, buffalos and the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at a Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park and Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National ParkAn early morning departure, for a long drive, to Amboseli National Park. This elephant haven will amaze you at how majestic and imposing the elephant is. In this park look for the lions, gerenuks, among other game. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park and Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West National ParkAn early morning game drive, then drive on to the adjacent Tsavo West National Park visiting the Shetani Lava Flow and the Mzima Springs. Overnight at Tsavo West National Park lodge.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park to the Kenyan Coast

Kenyan CoastDepart for the Coast for a leisure stay at the coast. Serena Beach Hotel, Whitesands Beach Hotel, Diani Reef Hotel among others are available to you. Take your pick!

Day 8 and 9: Kenyan Coast

Kenyan CoastWill be spend relaxing by the pool and short excursions to Fort Jesus and Haller Park and short walks along the beach.

Day 10: Kenyan Coast to Nairobi

Kenyan CoastAfter breakfast your driver/guide will drive you to the airport for your onward flight back home, Taking with you memorable experience of Kenya and the Kenyan people.
