Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel or JKI Airport and transfer to Wilson Airport for a domestic flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve. At the airstrip you will be met by your driver guide for a drive to your lodge (Sarova lodge, Serena lodge, Fig tree or Governors lodge). An evening game drive will be arranged. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
If interested on a balloon safari a wake-up call at about 04:30hrs and transfer to the launch point, balloon flight is usually about 1hr and takes place at dawn followed by a champagne breakfast. After breakfast a full day game drive tracking animals. A picnic lunch will be provided by the hippo pools. The Mara offers one an unrivalled opportunity to capture wildlife in many different states of action. Dinner and overnight at your Mara lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara to the Kenyan Coast
An early morning game drive will be arranged returning mid morning for lunch. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for a direct flight to Mombasa/Lamu where you will be met by your hotel representative. You are booked in this hotel for 6 nights on half-board. Serena Beach Hotel, Sarova Whitesands Beach Hotel, Prideinn Paradise Beach Hotel come highly recommended.
Day 4 – 9: Kenyan Coast
Will be spent relaxing by the beach and enjoying the many water sports and short excursions to Fort Jesus, Haller Park, Marine Park etc.
Day 10: Mombasa to Nairobi
Depending on your flight schedule you will be driven to Mombasa Airport for your flight to Nairobi to connect to your international flight.
